Why We Built Televiora

Healthcare that fits around your life

If you have ever sat in a waiting room for an hour to have a five-minute conversation with a doctor who has never met you, you know the frustration. You leave feeling rushed, unheard, and no closer to an answer than when you walked in.

That experience is far too common in Australia. And for people managing ongoing health concerns, juggling work, family, or living outside a major city, the barriers to getting consistent, quality care are even higher.

Televiora was built because we believe healthcare should feel personal.

What we set out to do

We wanted to create a telehealth service where the consultation is the core of the experience. Where you speak to a qualified Australian practitioner who has time to listen, review your history properly, and build a plan that makes sense for your life.

A genuine clinical conversation with a practitioner who takes the time to understand your history, your goals, and what makes your situation unique. Every consultation is personalised because every patient is different.

Who we are

Televiora is independently Australian-owned and operated. We are focused on quality of care, not rapid growth.

Our practitioners are qualified Australian registered health practitioners, including GPs and Nurse Practitioners, with experience across general practice, weight management, metabolic health, and general wellbeing. Every consultation follows the same clinical standards you would expect from an experienced local GP.

What you can expect

  • A proper consultation. Every appointment involves a genuine clinical assessment, not a checkbox form.
  • Plans built around you. Your health history, your lifestyle, your goals. Not a generic protocol applied to everyone.
  • Transparent pricing. You know what you will pay before you book. No hidden fees, no surprise charges.
  • Ongoing support. Healthcare is not a one-off transaction. We are here for follow-ups, questions, and adjustments along the way.
  • Privacy and security. Your health information is handled in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles. We take data security seriously.

What we do not do

We do not promise overnight results. We do not guarantee specific outcomes. We do not prescribe without a proper assessment. And we do not pretend that every health concern can be solved with a single consultation.

Some appointments will result in a management plan. Others will result in a referral, further investigation, or simply reassurance that everything is within normal range. All of those are valid outcomes of good clinical care.

The name

Televiora combines “tele” (at a distance) with “viora” (from the Latin “to live well”). It reflects what we care about most: helping Australians access the healthcare they need to live well, wherever they are.

Start a conversation

If you have been putting off a health concern because getting to a doctor felt too hard, too expensive, or too impersonal, we would like to change that. A good first step is simply having a conversation with someone who is qualified to help.

Individual results vary based on your unique biology and commitment to the program. Assessment findings do not guarantee a particular outcome.
