Questions you might have
before you start.
Q. What if I do not get a prescription?
A. A prescription is only one possible outcome of a consultation. Your practitioner may recommend lifestyle changes, monitoring, referral, or a combination of approaches. The consultation itself has value regardless of the outcome, and you will leave with a clear understanding of your options.
Q. Is this a proper consultation or just a quick form?
A. Every Televiora consultation is a real-time conversation with an Australian registered health practitioner via video or phone. Completing the health assessment is the first step, but it is not the consultation itself. Your practitioner will take the time to understand your health, ask follow-up questions, and discuss the right approach for you.
Q. What happens to my information?
A. Your personal and health information is stored securely in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable state and territory health records legislation. We do not sell your data to anyone. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Q. Can I see the same practitioner each time?
A. We aim to pair you with a consistent clinician for continuity of care. If your practitioner is unavailable, another member of your care team can step in with full access to your clinical notes.
